DAMPNESS & MOULD INVESTIGATION
Moulds are microscopic organisms a growth of long chains
of fungi cells which produce a potentially harmful
substance called a MYCOTOXIN. Mould spores are easily
detached and made airborne during everyday life.
Water damage and humidity, if left untreated, can
contribute to mould growth. The public are now more aware
that exposure to mould can cause a wide range of adverse
health effects. When inhaled, even in small amounts ,
mould can cause allergic reactions, respiratory tract
irritation, headaches, chronic fatigue, breathing
difficulties, fever, lung infections, bleeding lungs,
hemosiderosis, increased symptoms in those with asthma and
others illnesses. Indoor air quality is of paramount
importance to our health.
Mould will grow and multiply whenever conditions are
right. Mould requires nutrients, MOISTURE, time and the
appropriate temperatures in order to grow. Moisture
control is the key to mould remediation. Mould must be
physically removed as Mould is Toxic dead or alive.
